The Ivy Hotel is traditional and stylish, the main building retains it's Victorian structure and has a newer wing of 20 bedrooms, connecting to it by a charming, naturally styled conservatory. Situated in the village of Wroughton, just outside Swindon on the site of Moormead Farm, it offers beautiful surroundings and a convenient and comfortable base to explore the local attractions and shopping centres. The hotel and restaurant have an exclusive, luxurious feel and the cost fairly reflects the surroundings and service on offer.

Restaurant and Bar

Harvey's Restaurant is open for breakfast daily from 7am - 9.30am and 8am - 10.30am on Sundays. It serves a brasserie menu for lunch and dinner for light, relaxed meals/snacks, whilst the A la Carte and Chef's Specials dinner menus provide a fine dining experience in plush, elegant surroundings. There is also a library available for private dining and business lunches. The restaurant is open for evening meals from 6.30pm.

The Rooms

Each room has it's own unique character, with antique furniture and plush fabrics providing a mixture of classical and contemporary features. All the rooms have recently been refurbished and updated to provide free wifi broadband, powerful showers, luxury toiletries, bathrobes and candles.

The hotel does not have on-site leisure facilities. Golf courses, nature trails and a leisure centre with swimming pool are all nearby.

The McArthur Glen Designer Outlet village and Steam Railway Museum are 15 minutes drive and the Avebury Stones, Stone Henge, Badminton Horse Trials and Castle Coombe are all 10 - 20 minutes drive. 15 minutes from the M4 motorway, giving easy access to Bath, Bristol and Cheltenham.

The Ridgeway Hall conference suites occupy their own, modern, sef-contained, purpose built facility and can accommodate up to 100, offering full disabled access and 5 further individual meeting rooms for 2 - 40 delegates.

Function Rooms

The hotel is licensed for civil ceremony weddings and offers a number of buffet and formal dining menu packages, in banqueting suites with own bar. There are no minimum number requirements and birthdays, anniversaries, parties and themed nights are all regularly catered for.
