Hotel Overview

A quiet, country hotel in the sleepy village of Hinton set in pretty countryside but close to junction 18 of the M4 and Bath. Set in 6 acres of stunning parkland this Victorian Farmhouse has part dating from the 15th century and features low beams, stone walls, open fires and candlelight in the lounges and dining rooms.

Restaurant and Bar

The Conservatory restaurant is uniquely designed, with a large pond running through the centre of the room, and diners sitting surrounded by exotic flowers, banana and palm trees creating a truly intimate and romantic ambiance. The varied menu offers dishes from locally sourced, seasonal ingredients. Private dining for up to 16 can be catered for.

The Rooms

All rooms are ensuite, with hairdryers and TV's. Most have Victorian fireplaces and 4 poster beds and some have screened Victorian rolltop bathing alcoves. Furnished using unique antiques and luxurious fabrics, many also have garden terraces.

None on-site. There is a Bath Spa package available - transport can be arranged. Players golf club 5 minutes drive, Lansdown golf club 10 minutes drive.

What's Nearby?

Dyrham Park, Westonbirt Arboretum, Bath (just 15 minutes), Avebury, Castle Combe and Lacock Abbey are all nearby and Swindon can be reached on the M4 in approximately 30 - 40 minutes.

There is a range of conference equipment and facilities available. Ideally situated close to Bath and Bristol, the hotel can cater for small business meetings up to larger conferences. There is a comfortable lounge area and free WIFI - day or 24 hour delegate packages are offered.

Function Rooms

The hotel provides occasional music nights and special events in the restaurant.
