Hotel Overview

The Blunsdon House Hotel is a 4 star Best Western Premier Hotel, with 116 tastefully decorated and furnished ensuite rooms within it's main building and pavilion. Situated in Blunsdon, just off the A419 within 10 minutes from junction 15 of the M4 motorway, and set in 30 acres of grounds, with parking for 300 cars.

Restaurant and Bar

The hotel has two restaurants, with 2 distinctly different styles. The first, Christies, has a lively and informal atmosphere, serving carvery style roasts and buffet style desserts, with fixed price menus offering good value for money. The second, Nichols is for the fine dining experience and offers a best quality a la carte menu using British, locally sourced meats and produce wherever possible, complemented by specially selected wines and champagnes, all served in tasteful and comfortable surroundings. There is a patio outside the conservatory for aperitifs or even Al Fresco dining on warm summer evenings. There are 3 bars, one colourful and relaxed, with large drop down screen for major sports events and a flatscreen TV by it's pool tables for general use and two more traditional, wood panelled bars.

The Rooms

All the rooms are ensuite and have King or Queen beds, LCD TV, hi speed internet access with desk and chair, tea and coffee making facilities, trouser press, mini bar, designer lighting, power shower, bathrobe and complimentary toiletries. In addition, the Pavilion Executive rooms are exceptionally spacious with walk in shower and separate bath with shower and balcony, with views over the golf course. Family rooms and interconnecting rooms, and some four poster suites are available if required.

Leisure Facilities

There is a fully conditioned leisure club with 2 gyms, one cardiovascular and one resistance, an indoor heated swimming pool, steam room, sauna, sunbeds, an all weather tennis court, 2 squash courts and a beauty salon offering a range of therapies and treatments. A dance studio and aerobic classes are also on offer and there is an indoor children's games room and outdoor childrens play area. Within it's grounds, the Hotel has a 9 hole, par 3 golf course and a one mile woodland walk.

Swindon's busy town centre and railway station is just 15 minutes drive, as is the McArthur Glen Designer Outlet Village and Steam Railway Museum. Bristol, Bath and Cheltenham are all within easy reach on the M4, and Stonehenge, Avebury, Cotswold Wildlife Park and Oxford are amongst many other local attractions.
