The rooms are individually designed, using contemporary fabrics and wallpapers to create a rich and opulent setting. Each room also comes with selected antiques, Bang and Olufsen Beacenter sound and vision system, mobile telephone communications and under floor heating. Golf courses, Stonehenge, Westonbirt Arboretum are all within easy driving distance from the hotel. Whatley Manor also provides lavish settings for an ideal wedding and reception. It is also possible to hire a marquee for the garden for a much larger party because the function room can accommodate only up to 80 persons.

The Pear Tree

The Pear Tree, located at the outskirts of Purton, is another hotel that you might want to check out. Purton is an attractive Saxon village between Cotswold and Marlborough Downs. The Pear Tree grounds include 2 ½ acre natural environments which include wetlands, wild flower meadow, vineyards, and beehives.
